Beet Sugar Filtration

Filtration is a key component in processing sugar beets into usable components. Our filters are used in many steps in the process, such as water filtration, mud-dewatering and juice clarification. Our filters are also used in the desugaring of molasses by both the Steffen process and the chromatographic processes.

Palm Oil Refining

Filtration is a key process step in the edible/vegetable oil industry. Durco Filters Pressure Leaf Filter and Filter Press products remove waxes, gums, slimes and gels that are present in these applications.

Corn Syrup Filtration

High-fructose corn syrup comprises any of a group of corn syrups that has undergone enzymatic processing to convert some of its glucose into fructose to produce a desired sweetness. It has become very common in processed foods and beverages including breads, cereals, breakfast bars, lunch meats, yogurts, soups, and condiments. Our filters remove contaminants resulting in a pure and visibly clear product.
